With a mixture of regret and hopeful anticipation, the organizers of the successful board game fair SPIEL DOCH! in Duisburg today that the public fair is moving from Duisburg to Dortmund for its planned date in summer 2022.

From Duisburg to Dortmund
This far-reaching decision was made of necessity because the original venue, the Kraftzentrale in the Duisburg landscape park, is expected to be used as accommodation for Ukrainian refugees until September and is therefore not available for the trade fair.
The PLAY! 2022 will therefore take place on the grounds of Messe Dortmund on the known date of July 1st to 3rd.
"The area located within the city offers first-class conditions for design," says the organizing Nostheide Verlag. "Execution and possible expansion of the SPIEL DOCH! Exhibitors and visitors alike don't have to worry about the quality of the trade fair." The site is excellently connected to public transport in the Ruhr area, but also offers over 3.000 parking spaces.
