Fans of Zelda, Link and Co are probably already looking forward to the end of the month. That's when Nintendo will release The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, a new part of the hugely popular video game series for Nintendo Switch.
The kingdom of Hyrule is once again in danger – but this time it is not the hero Link who is supposed to save the world. It is up to Princess Zelda to save the kingdom from destruction. When The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is released in the last week of September, the game will probably be one of the last big titles for the Nintendo SwitchThe end of the console's life seems to be imminent, and rumors suggest that Nintendo will release relevant information about a successor console in the coming weeks.
A Princess Saves the World
In a new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Nintendo highlights what the new Zelda game is about and which features are at the heart of it. It is obvious that the creators are showing courage and are breaking new ground with the game. The princess is the heroine at the center - and it is much more about puzzles and riddles than just rough and tumble action.
This breathes new life into the popular and successful video game series. For Nintendo, the title is one of the last good opportunities to increase sales of the Nintendo Switch to boost sales once again with a view to the Christmas season. After all, the Zelda games in particular have proven to be good drawcards when it comes to bringing a console to fans. In addition, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will probably be the last really new entry in the series for the hybrid console.
Nintendo has certainly come up with a number of ideas for the game to give fans a new perspective on the otherwise action-packed Zelda gameplay. The princess impresses with her cleverness, and relies on trying things out and experimenting in the game environment. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom certainly has the potential to significantly shorten the waiting time for players to get their hands on the new console.
