Amazon Games and NCSOFT today announced that Amazon Games' highly anticipated MMORPG Throne and Liberty will be released in the West and Japan.
The game combines story-driven adventure with action-packed combat in a world with dynamic environments. The large-scale PvE and PvP battles are other core features of Throne and Liberty. The game is set to be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with cross-platform support.

Throne and Liberty is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game that combines story-driven adventure and action-packed combat. In Throne and Liberty, players enter a vast world with constantly changing geography and environments that alter the course of the game. Large-scale PvP and PvE battles are core features of Throne and Liberty. Players can transform into animals to glide through the air or explore the depths of the ocean. In addition, they can determine the outcome of each battle by creating powerful environmental effects, such as a solar eclipse or rainstorms.
NCSOFT has a long history of developing and releasing multiplayer franchises worldwide, including Lineage, Blade & Soul, and Guild Wars. Throne and Liberty is the South Korean developer's latest next-gen MMO and the first to be released in multiple regions in collaboration with an outside publisher.

Throne and Liberty continues Amazon Games' momentum in game publishing, following the success of Smilegate RPG's homegrown MMO New World and action RPG Lost Ark. Both titles have climbed to the top of the Steam and Twitch charts and continue to enjoy strong player communities. Amazon also announced publishing agreements with Bandai Namco Online for Blue Protocol, Crystal Dynamics for the next Tomb Raider game, and Glowmade and Disruptive Games for unannounced titles.
