The Brettspiel-Con 2023 in Berlin took place from July 14th to 16th and was a complete success with over 15.000 visitors. For the first time, the limited badge and Saturday were completely sold out. The date for the new edition of the event has already been set for next year.
A phenomenal board game summer festival awaited visitors on over 12.000 square meters, inviting them to play, discover and linger. The Berlin Brettspiel Con was pleased to welcome over 2 exhibitors. Board game publishers presented and explained their new products, retailers offered attractive bargains and physical well-being was also taken care of. There was something for every visitor, whether big or small, frequent or occasional gamer. Be it the large Lego fan exhibition, with a life-sized chess board made of clamping blocks and many creative fan models, the free game rental or the large board game flea market with many thousands of offers.
New location for Berlin Con 2024
Organizer Hunter aka Johannes Jaeger is still enthusiastic about the phenomenal result: “Our last appearance at the station exceeded all expectations and proved what importance the Berlin Con has in the board game scene and for the community. We are overjoyed and are already looking forward to 2024 in the new location!”

The next Berlin Board Game Convention will take place for the first time from July 19th to 21st, 2024 in the “Estrel Congress Center”, the largest convention hotel in Europe.
Co-organizer Sven Siemen sees the change with both laughing and crying eyes. “The station has been the home of Berlin Con since 2019 and the charm of the old station halls is unparalleled. “But I’m happy about the many new opportunities that the new location offers us and we will only further underline our reputation as Germany’s largest and most beautiful board game festival.”
