As Conan Exiles: Age of Sorcery draws to a close, Funcom is beating the drums for Age of War, the next season of free content updates and paid cosmetic items, coming June 22nd. To herald this new age, the game features stunning new artwork, giving a foretaste of the carnage to come.
Armed with steel instead of sorcery and hungry for gold, an ancient empire marches into the Exiled Lands. The Age of War story spans a massive military invasion of the Exiled Lands, told across three major updates, each with a Battle Pass packed with cosmetic items.
In less than a year, Age of Sorcery has introduced an enormous amount of new content over the course of three updates, such as a sorcery system, an overhaul of the building system and attributes, new battles, golem design, new characters and stories, and a redesign of the travel system . Now, with Age of War, more innovations are on the horizon.
In Age of War - Chapter 1, players collect treasures from all over the world and display them in their private vault. They can also create and modify their own clan badge, which can then be seen on banners and shields.
After Age of War - Chapter 1 there are some extensive innovations in Conan Exiles on the program such as improved and expanded purges, recruitable mercenaries and a drilled enemy AI. It culminates in a PvE raid where players must fight back the Stygian invasion. These are Age of War's biggest features. But there is still a lot more work to be done, details will follow at a later date.
The first chapter of Conan Exiles: Age of War will be released on June 22nd on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox X|S, Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass.
