The Paderborn simulation experts at Aerosoft are today introducing the Aerosoft Truck & Bus Wheel System, the first steering wheel on the market specifically manufactured for truck and bus simulators. The steering wheel is complemented by its own switching unit and a three-pedal set to ensure the highest possible level of driving realism. Aerosoft plans to release the complete hardware system early next year.
The Aerosoft Truck & Bus Wheel System was designed by Aerosoft specifically for truck and bus simulations in order to create the most authentic driving experience possible. The steering wheel has a diameter of 40cm and has a steering wheel angle of 1080°. Force feedback gives players a realistic feel for the behavior of their vehicle in every corner and every overtaking maneuver. Details such as the fully functional indicator and retarder levers as well as a large red engine start button round off the steering wheel system.
In addition to the steering wheel, the Aerosoft Truck & Bus Wheel System also contains a switching unit and a three-pedal set. The switching unit offers a total of 14 programmable action buttons with light indicators, a switch for H-Shift and sequential shift mode, another activation switch for first and second gear and even a mounting device for a cell phone or tablet. The pedal set features a large gas, clutch and brake pedal with exponential pressure force.
