The Humblewood: Campaign and Setting Box is now available. That at Pegasus Spiele The role-playing setting published for the 5th edition takes the players to the mystical forest of the same name in the realm of Everden. There they experience a whole series of adventures as anthropomorphic heroes.
Since the Kickstartercampaign by Hit Point Press in spring 2019, in which over 14.000 supporters raised around $1 million, the hype surrounding the mystical fantasy world is huge. A German version of the role-playing setting, which is based on the 5E rule system, has now been released for the first time. The corresponding basic rules are required to play.
Animals take center stage
The fantastic story focuses on heroic animal creatures, in whose role the players slip. Together they must protect their home, the forest Humblewood, from natural and humanoid dangers. In addition to the adventure campaign, the hardcover book, which is over 200 pages long, also contains a detailed introduction to the Everden Empire, including the gods and peoples who live there.
Also included in the campaign and setting box are six large-format folding cards showing Everden, cardboard cutouts of non-player characters (NPCs) and monsters that can be used to represent the encounters in the game, and a reference card deck with the most important information for the game management.
Matching the Humblewood box, seven miniature sets are also being released with all the important figures in the setting. Three of them (Heroes of Humblewood, Humblefolk and Citizens of Alderheart) embody NPCs or game characters, the other four (Bandit Coalition, Beasts of the Wood, Boneyard Birds, Aspect of Fire) are opponents. The miniature sets are expected to be available from spring 2024. Everyone who has pre-ordered the complete set of campaign and setting box as well as miniature sets will first receive the box. The sets will then be automatically delivered after publication.
