The time has finally come, the first players are holding their new PlayStation in their hands. What has received far too little attention so far: Sony is already offering a whole series of improvements to popular games for the release of the PS5, which are based on the technical and graphical capabilities of the high-tech console. There are over 50 titles. More have already been announced. We offer an overview of the PS5 games that have already received a patch and those titles that are to be upgraded in the future.
If we take a quick look at the technical data of the PlayStation 5 Pro, major differences to the previous model, the PS5, become apparent. The GPU of the PS5 Pro offers a full 67 percent more processing units. In addition, Sony's new PlayStation console supports advanced ray tracing. This not only allows players to enjoy a higher number of ray tracing effects, but also a more realistic display of video games. The "Spectral Super Resolution" of the PlayStation 5 Pro, meanwhile, provides AI upscaling technology. The graphics performance ensures that refresh rates of 60 to 120 FPS, frames per second, and a 4K to 8K resolution are achieved. It's no wonder, then, that upgrades to particularly popular PlayStation games have been implemented along the console's high-tech capabilities.
PS5 Pro – old games come with upgrade
It is already clear at the launch of the PlayStation 5 Pro that owners of a screen with (at least) 4K resolution will be able to see the benefits of the Enhanced upgrade most clearly.
