Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is rumbling again: the successor to the hit game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will soon be given an official release date. According to several reports, it should be ready in the coming weeks. A US web magazine assumes December 8th - the day on which the Game Awards take place.
According to other rumours, the Star Wars action role-playing game is set to launch in March 2023. So far, however, there is no official information on this. That could at least change soon – if you can believe other people who have moved.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor continues story
Not much has been heard about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. A few details had been revealed, but given the assumed release in March, little happened. There may be a reason for the long silence: Electronic Arts could really get the marketing machine rattling in time for the Game Awards. At least that's what Insider Gaming suspects. Accordingly, a new trailer should appear on December 8th, which should not only announce the release date, but also the start of pre-orders.
If a trailer is actually revealed, fans will probably also see gameplay footage for the first time – anything else would be a big surprise. So far there is only a CGI video for the game – but the teaser does not show what Star Wars Jedi: Survivor looks like graphically. Expectations are high given the fact that the game will only be released for the current-gen consoles Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as well as for PC.
If you follow the red line of all known rumors about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the game should be on the right track for release. However, the short period for advertising is questionable if Electronic Arts and Repawn Entertainment actually plan March of the coming year as the release month. Until now, information had been kept under wraps. However, due to the great success of its predecessor, developers and publishers may also assume that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will sell well without a marketing campaign lasting months.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will continue to tell the story of the Jedi Cal Kestis. The game will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X / S and PC.
