Merge Games today announces that the open-world multiplayer survival game “Smalland: Survive the Wilds” is leaving Early Access on December 7th and is launching simultaneously on PC and consoles! For the first time, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series
Players cross puddles the size of lakes and trees as tall as mountains. They fight, tame and ride monstrous creatures from grasshoppers to geckos to survive and thrive in this harsh, untamed world. They also craft powerful armor to customize their character and unlock special abilities. They build their own bases and camps in a giant tree and develop their smallfolk there, for whom they collect resources to produce items, weapons, food and much more. Players can explore alone or with up to 9 other friends in multiplayer as they fight to conquer the world and its inhabitants.
New content for the PC version will be added continuously until release and will be available in the console versions at release. The game's third major content update is coming to Early Access PC players in October, bringing a new biome and new creatures. Much more is planned until the 1.0 version in December! “Smalland: Survive the Wilds” will continue to receive updates after the release of the PC and console versions. More content is already in the works as the Overland continues to grow and become more challenging.
“Smalland: Survive the Wilds” will be released digitally on December 7th, with physical versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S available in stores worldwide from December 8th. The multiplayer adventure presents players with the challenge of surviving at the bottom of the food chain in an oversized world.
Smallland: Survive the Wilds was developed and published in-house by Merge Games and released on Steam and Epic in March, where the game reached a peak of over 52.000 daily players in its launch week and more than 1,9 million hours watched on Twitch.
