Players will witness the conclusion of "Terran Gambit," in which the Terran Emperor Wesley Crusher has merged with the Other and now wields terrifying power. The Federation must end the Emperor's terror before he digitizes everything on his way to Earth.
Star Trek Online is a free, massively multiplayer online game in which players explore the universe of Star Trek. Captains can also visit famous locations from the Star Trek universe, make contact with new alien species and fight with other players in their own spaceships.

Gearbox Publishing and Cryptic Studios announce Star Trek Online: Refractions, the latest update to the long-running MMORPG, which is celebrating its 13th anniversary next month. The new season will be released on PC on January 24th and on consoles at a later date. Players will witness the conclusion of "Terran Gambit," in which the Terran Emperor Wesley Crusher has merged with the Other and now wields terrifying power. The Federation must end the Emperor's terror before he digitizes everything on his way to Earth.
The new season of Star Trek Online features Terran versions of classic Star Trek characters, voiced by the original actors in their iconic roles. Wil Wheaton returns as Terran Emperor Westly Crusher and Gates McFadden as Terran Dr. Beverly Crusher and Chase Masterson as Terran Admiral Leeta.
In addition to the new episode, Fujiwhara Effect, which concludes the "Terran Gambit", the new season includes the following content:
• Brand new Task Force - Birdcage
A five-player ground task force that serves as a prequel to the episode Fujiwhara Effect. You must break out of a mirror universe prison with four other captains and defeat the Terran Dr. Free Beverly Crusher so she can stop her son from destroying everyone and everything.
• Two new patrols
Jupiter Station and Khonshu Khaibit, a ground and a space patrol in the mirror universe of Terran Gambit.
• Picard Season 2 Lock Box: A Galaxy Safe
The mysterious Worldrazer Temporal Operative Juggernaut Tier 6 as seen in Picard Season 2, as well as many "Confederation" and "Guardian" weapons and gear will be part of this brand new lock box.
• 13th Anniversary Event
From January 24th to February 23rd, in addition to the new content, players can also earn a new Tier 6 ship, collect the Compiler Research Dreadnought, Omega Fragments, and craft high-quality Omega Tech upgrades from Q and its long-awaited Omega Molecule Stabilization.
Star Trek Online is a free-to-play, massively multiplayer online game for fans to explore the Star Trek universe.
