Swedish development studio Hadoque revealed their debut project, the psychedelic Ultros, during the PlayStation Showcase.
The action-packed mystical loop adventure is brought to life by a catchy soundtrack and otherworldly art by renowned artist El Huervo (Hotline Miami series). Ultros will be available in 2024 via Steam for PC and as a console exclusive on PlayStation.
In Ultros you have to travel through a strange alien landscape in Metroidvania style. Explore the mysteries of The Sarcophagus and discover exotic flora and bloodthirsty fauna. Face the monstrous creatures in daring battles and create a thriving, green network. In this world, death is not the end - the strange powers of The Sarcophagus and the demonic being within it throw the doomed into a time warp time and time again.
With each playthrough you delve deeper into the ecosystem and gain deeper knowledge of this unique world - only those who dare fearlessly can hope to gain the necessary skills and break the cycle of life and death.
The complex world of Ultros invites you to explore through its eccentric art style and the engaging soundscape and is full of secrets. The game will be released in 2024 for Playstation 5 and Playstation 4.
