Owlcat Games today announced information about Season Pass 2 and the three Premium DLCs for the critically acclaimed CRPG Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.
“Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is the first title that Owlcat has released as an independent studio with full development control. And we have big plans for future updates and new content,” says Alexander Mishulin, Creative Director at Owlcat Games. "It's been a year since the game released, but we still have a dedicated team in the studio working exclusively on Pathfinder. We have a lot of ideas for your upcoming adventures. So we want to develop more content as DLC for our game.”
The second season will start soon
New friends and foes, dangers and rewards await players, both as an expansion to the Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous campaign and as a standalone experience.
DLC #4: Here comes a new companion for the Knight Commander's squad and a new playable class: the ever-changing Shifter. The squad can now be expanded with a reliable fighter that can take on the aspects of various wild beasts. Players delve into the mysteries of Old Sarkoris and who knows? Perhaps they will find a new love there that will stand the test of time itself.
DLC #5: The new standalone campaign picks up where the story of the Through the Ashes DLC left off. A new demon king with hordes of frozen minions is rising from the depths of the Abyss. If the Knight Commander is busy elsewhere, what is a group of normal adventurers doing without any mystical powers? The expansion features a six to seven hour story that can be played independently or with the hero from the Through the Ashes DLC. Upon completion, a new dungeon opens in the main campaign for the Knight Commander to investigate.
DLC #6: Things didn't go well during the players' first visit to Kenabres. Now that the demonic attack has been repelled and the crusaders are preparing the final counterattack, why not take a little time out? Burned down and rebuilt, Kenabres is holding a new feast and the Knight Commander is the guest of honor. This is the perfect chance for players to spend some time away from the battlefield with their companions - and maybe go on a special date. But you have to be careful: the war is not over yet and even peaceful Kenabres hides some secrets.
Season Pass 2 is available to pre-order for PC starting today. It will be available on consoles later, with the launch of the first of the three new DLCs.
To celebrate Season Pass 2, Owlcat also announced a Halloween Scream Sale on Steam. There are discounts on the following editions: 55 percent on Mythic and Commander Editions and 30 percent on the latest premium DLC "The Treasure of Midnight Isle". The sale runs from today until November 1, 2022.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is available digitally on Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch (via Cloud). Prime Matter, Plaion's premium gaming label, is distributing the physical console versions.
